I have written about this “normalcy” thing at length — see below. I have some issues with Biden, but the people complaining that he hasn’t made everything hunky dory are largely the people doing their damnedest to obstruct him (e.g., anti-vaxxers, the Seditionist Caucus, and the GOP at large). As for Trump as disruptor and enemy of “elites,” that is the biggest laugh of all. The swamp has never seen a more corrupt, self-serving denizen, nor the 1% had a better friend.
