That’s a fascinating take. Just as metaphor, the “sick society” is a powerful idea (and our contemporary situation provides an excellent case study). I wouldn’t begin to know how to treat it, however. What is equally fascinating to me is that this is not far off from what Kaczynski himself was arguing, albeit through a very idiosyncratic lens (and with an indefensibly violent prescription for its repair).
